Brenda Patton, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Appalachian State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from Gardner-Webb University.

With over 40 years of experience working with families, Brenda specializes in Problematic Sexual Behavior-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT) for school-age children (7-12) and adolescents (13-18), as well as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents ages 3-18.

Since joining Southmountain Children and Family Services in 2012, Brenda has served in multiple roles before transitioning to the Burke County Children’s Advocacy Center as a part-time clinician in 2020. She is deeply committed to supporting North Carolina families and strongly believes in the mission of Children’s Advocacy Centers.
