
Jennifer Gold, a native of Burke County, has dedicated her career to supporting and advocating for children in her community. With a deep passion for mental health and trauma recovery, Jennifer earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University.
As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Jennifer brings over 13 years of experience in working with child victims of trauma, specializing in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Problem Sexual Behavior Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (PSB-CBT).
Since 2017, Jennifer has been an integral part of the Burke County Children's Advocacy Center. She transitioned into the role of director and primary forensic interviewer in 2021, where she plays a critical role in the investigation and support of children involved in cases of abuse.
Jennifer’s compassionate approach and her clinical expertise allow her to provide invaluable support to children and families in the aftermath of trauma while creating a safe, healing environment within her community.
