Kimbra Pendley serves as our family advocate here at the Burke County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) and has been an essential part of Southmountain Children and Family Services since 2011.

Kimbra began supporting children and families as a case manager for our foster community before transitioning to the CAC in 2017.

Kimbra brings a wealth of experience in criminal justice, social work, and evidence-based practices. In her role, Kimbra supports families navigating the criminal justice and Department of Social Services systems while connecting them to crucial community resources for healing and justice.

Kimbra holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She is deeply passionate about her work as a family advocate and finds deep meaning in helping families access the resources they need to heal and thrive.

Outside of work, Kimbra enjoys spending time with her family, caring for animals, and exploring new places through travel.
